Transfer a premises licence application services

If you are taking over a new premises which has a premises licence, you will need to apply to transfer the licence to your own business, or into your name. I will talk you through the process and once you are satisfied, submit the application on your behalf. Often this can be completed on the same day the enquiry is made and can be effective immediately.

After initial discussion with the client to vary the DPS I will complete the relevant form and forward the document to the proposed DPS for electronic signature. I will then submit the form to the licensing authority, with consent forms, along with the required fee.

In the rare event of the police objecting to the new DPS taking position, I will hold discussions with the police on behalf of the client and advise accordingly.

On completion of the process I will check the new premises licence and forward it immediately to the client. Often this service can be completed on the same day the enquiry is made and can be effective immediately.

Service for a Designated Premises Supervisor variation (DPS)

This service includes the following:

• I will hold an initial discussion with the client with regard to the variation to specify an individual as a DPS
• I will complete the relevant form and arrange for the proposed DPS to sign the form
• I will submit the form to the licensing authority, with consent forms, along with the required fee
• In the rare event of the police objecting to the new DPS taking position, I will hold discussions with the police on behalf of the client and advise accordingly.
• On completion of the process I will check the new premises licence and forward it immediately to the client.
